Another project inspired by lyrics from a song. Brand New’s song “Jesus” has some of the most inspiring and challenging lyrics I’ve heard in a while. I can’t get this ending phrase out of my head.

Lutefisk Sounds Tasty
After listening to hours of “News From Lake Wobegon” on “A Prarie Home Companion”, I really am curious about all the references to Lutefisk. I’ve seen the dish onBizzare Foods with Andrew Zimmern and it didn’t come across as the tastiest dish ever, but if it’s a cultural staple for Norwegian and Sweedish people, it can’t be terrible right?

I dreamt I had to go to Mars. . .
I’ve been a long-time fan of Belle and Sebastian. Perfect music to design to. I’ve been facinated by the “Space Boy Dreams” track. Laid some of the lyrics out in this typography experiment for a poster. I’m in love with “Bodoni Condensed Italic Bold” right now.

Arizona Photography
I have visited my wife’s family in Tucson twice now and am blown away by the beauty of the landscape. I have had great days relaxing and enjoying the beauty of the Catalina mountains and the Tucson range as well.
