I love a good creative collaboration project. The Silver Screen Society has brought together some amazing artists and illustrators to reinterpret great films in a film-poster format. When I reached out to them, they gave me the choice between 2001: A Space Odyssey and The Hour-Glass Sanatorium. After a little googling, the later sounded extremely interesting. Being a foreign film, I couldn’t even find a copy to watch it. They provided me with a copy of the film and some essays helping explain it. It is very hard to follow and understand without these explanations. I still probably couldn’t tell you a great synopsis, but overall I was very creatively inspired and intrigued by the whole thing. I would absolutely recommend it.
