I had the honor of having a booth at the INDIEana Handicraft Exchange this year. My wife and I have attended religiously the last few years and have never left empty-handed. There are some seriously rad artists there every year. I have gotten a print from Matt Cipov each year and this is the place where I first met Dave Windisch of Mile 44. Amanda and Neal Taflinger are some seriously rad folks and we’re extremely grateful that they brought this event to Indianapolis. You can find a lot of this art year-round at Homespun Indy in the Irvington neighborhood of Indianapolis.
I have scrambled like a madman the last week and a half we had available after getting back from vacation in Arizona. Put together three new art prints and built a bunch of stuff for my booth. My wife printed scarves for the first time. (*Something she’s wanted to do every since I started screen printing.) We used a discharge ink process on American Apparel scarves and despite a few hiccups that come with printing on fabric for the first time, they turned out super rad! Our good friend Tyler Poling came with his iPad and helped us accept credit cards via SquareUp which is still kind of blowing my mind. Revolutionary.
You can pick up a couple of these new prints for your naked walls ///here///
these are awesome. love the drawing on the first print.
