When I sent CAKE’s manager the artwork for the Portland poster, I attached a couple color variations. They dug it enough that they wanted to use both for these two consecutive shows. They also took the art and made T-Shirts & Beach Towels with them! Grab a poster from this two-night concert in Davis, CA ///HERE///.
[..]I had the honor of creating a gig poster for the Arctic Monkeys show for their Indianapolis appearance. After getting band & management sign-off on the art, I felt that the illustration was screaming to have an all-cold version so I did half the run in all blue & white. Really pleased with the result. I sold these outside the venue in the lobby. There were only 4 left of the blue ones. You can head over ///HERE/// and try to nab one before they’re all gone.
[..]I’m honored to have a couple great local guys from WFYI come and capture a little about me and my experiences printing the latest CAKE gig posters.
[..]I couldn’t be more excited to continue to work with CAKE. This is also a special release for me as it’s the first print run I’ve done for a concert not in Indiana.
19″ x 19″ Hand-Pulled, 4-color print on French 100 lb. POPTONE Sno-Cone paper. Signed & numbered edition of 250.
[..]My first gallery show was everything I had hoped for. I couldn’t be more pleased with how it all turned out. Despite having a total of 4 hours of sleep across the span of 5 days, everything was completed and hung. The crowd was amazing and sales were very good.
